A diminutive earthly paradise

The Antipaxos islands lie south-east of Paxos, just 3 nautical miles from the latter’s port. This beautiful islet is home to approximately 20 permanent residents and encompassing 4 square kilometres of land.
The Antipaxos islands have a relatively level topography, featuring a low ridge and a highest elevation of approximately 118 metres. Despite their small size, the exotic Voutoumi beach is celebrated as one of the most beautiful in the world. White sand, crystalline waters, and lush trees create an idyllic landscape. Other equally impressive beaches with turquoise waters, such as Vrika and Mesovrika, along with sea caves, compose an earthly paradise.
The island lies within a Natura 2000 protected area, with scrubland, olive groves, and pine trees. Abundant marine life thrives, including Posidonia seagrass meadows, coral formations, Mediterranean monk seals, dolphins, and sea turtles. Vineyards dominate the landscape, and the island has a tradition of wine-making, which you can sample at its two charming tavernas.
