Sauté the onion in the butter until softened, then mix it with the minced beef, breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper and egg.
Shape the mixture into balls about 5 cm in diameter.
In a large frying pan, fry the meatballs in oil on all sides.
Pour the white wine over the meatballs and allow it to heat through for a few minutes.
Serve hot.
