The ultimate destination for a relaxing getaway

Halki, a diminutive island of Halki to the west of Rhodes, captivates visitors with its exquisite architecture, its turquoise waters and the sense of serenity it offers, all within an authentic Aegean landscape
It is an ancient land that has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Its name comes from the copper mines that operated here in antiquity (chalkos meaning copper). The buildings bear testament to the great development that the island experienced during the second half of the 19th century, when trade and sponge diving brought prosperity.
Upon reaching the port, you will be greeted by the vibrant Nimborio, the island's only hamlet, amphitheatrically built around the natural harbour. Neoclassical stone houses and courtyards paved with “chochlakia (local pebble mosaic floors) in striking designs create a picturesque scene.
Breathtaking turquoise waters, rugged landscapes, and mountain trails leading to secluded chapels, complemented by simple, delectable cuisine, complete the picture of a hidden gem in the Aegean Sea.
