The island of serenity and simplicity

Antiparos is a small, welcoming island just a few minutes from Paros, ideal for peaceful holidays away from all the noise. The sandy beaches with their clear, emerald waters offer moments of relaxation and enjoyment, while the short distances make every exploration easy and pleasant.
In antiquity, the island was known as Oliaros and was inhabited from a very early period. The oldest Neolithic settlement in the Cyclades was discovered on the small islet of Saliagos, while the ruins of a large temple survive on the uninhabited island of Despotiko, attesting to the long history of Antiparos.
The island's capital and port is Hora, which greets you with its bright white church of Agia Marina. The picturesque hamlet developed around the 15th century Venetian castle. The houses are built facing each other, forming a protected hamlet, as dictated by the needs of the time. Today, the stone-paved alleyways, the whitewashed narrow streets, the flower-filled houses, and the large central square with its distinctive eucalyptus tree create a wonderful island atmosphere.
Antiparos offers the simplicity and relaxation of short distances, as Hora is surrounded by beautiful beaches that you can walk to. You will experience a cosmopolitan atmosphere in smaller form, taste local delicacies in picturesque tavernas, walk around the beautiful Hora, and feel what it’s like to be on an authentic island of the Cyclades.
