The island of chalk
The island is a miniature version of the Cyclades and encompasses all the features of the most popular destinations: whitewashed, stone narrow streets, breathtaking beaches, and locals offering authentic hospitality.
The island's capital, Horio, consists of two settlements, Mesa Kastro and Exo Kastro. Mesa Castro is built around the original core of the medieval castle and possesses a distinctive charm with domes and arches, while Exo Castro features square and austere buildings. Psathi is the harbour, with whitewashed houses, narrow cobbled streets, small boat houses, and courtyards adorned with flowers.
In Kimolos there are impressive geological formations in the rocks, and it offers opportunities to stroll along wonderful trails, swim in crystal-clear waters, and experience a simple, unpretentious, and carefree summer.
