Both cosmopolitan and traditional

Paros lies at the centre of the Cyclades and is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Greece. Endowed with natural beauty, expansive sandy beaches, crystalline waters, and striking landscapes, it seamlessly blends a cosmopolitan ambience with authentic Cycladic tradition
In antiquity, Paros flourished thanks to its exquisite marble. Parian marble, the island's fine, white, and almost translucent stone, found use in both architecture and sculpture during the classical period. Several of antiquity's most celebrated Greek artworks, including Praxiteles' Hermes and the Venus de Milo, were sculpted from Parian marble.
Paros was home to notable sculptors, painters, and poets of antiquity, while the island has long been a point of contention for Romans, Franks, Venetians, and Ottomans, each leaving their mark on its history.
Today, Paros captivates visitors with its picturesque villages, exquisite Cycladic architecture, and unique beaches. Traditional festivals, a vibrant social scene, and rich gastronomy complete the image of an island that manages to retain its authenticity.
