Purée the whole orange, including the peel, in a blender. You may replace the orange with 2 lemons for a delicious lemon cake variation.
Whisk the eggs and sugar in a mixer for 10 minutes.
Add the olive oil, vanilla and puréed orange.
Combine the flour with the baking powder, then gradually fold into the egg mixture.
Bake in a cake tin at 180°C for about 1 hour.
Dust with icing sugar and cinnamon.
